Window and door care – little effort with great benefits
For doors and windows made of wood there are very good care products available which can be used to increase both their durability and nice appearance. These include cleaners especially for wood and cleaning agents which prevent recontamination. The latter also provide good protection against moisture and the sun's UV rays. They also give wooden doors and window frames made of wood a beautiful gloss.
With regular care the durability of windows and doors can be increased and their beautiful appearance can be maintained over a long time. This mainly affects wooden doors and wooden windows, which suffer from rain and the sun's rays. They are well protected against all atmospheric influence or exposure with a care agent for wood.
Cleaning prevents dirt from penetrating into the wood
The dirt from the street often lies on doors and windows. However, it can easily be removed with a little water and household cleaning agents so that it does not penetrate into the wood. Yet more suitable for door and window care, however, are the wood cleaners, which are exactly matched to the material. A combination of both variants is also possible. In this way, the coarsest dirt can first be removed with a rinsing agent solution in order to subsequently perfect the result with a wood cleaner. Wood cleaners like our ADLER Top Cleaner for wooden windows and ADLER Top Cleaner for wooden window care can also be used for your garden furniture and other wood products outdoors.
A care lotion is coated on the wood like a protective film
After cleaning, wooden doors and window frames made of wood can be treated with a cleaning agent. It forms a fine film that protects the wood from moisture and contamination. This also makes cleaning easier, which is required again after some time. Simply spray our ADLER Door Finish on the surface and rub it in with a cloth. This work is therefore quickly done, at low cost and ensures a beautiful gloss for your doors and windows.
Repairs to wooden windows and doors should be carried out as quickly as possible
Wood reacts very sensitively to water, which can penetrate through small scratches and joints. This damage should therefore be eliminated as quickly as possible. With a little varnish or plastic wood they can be easily removed so that the surface is closed again. Thus, the effort required is also low here and is certainly worth it. When taking care of your doors and windows also remember the fittings. They need some oil every now and then to ensure proper functioning. A few drops of oil are sufficient for this.
