Paintbrushes and brushes for applying paints, transparent wood finishes and varnishes
Good paintbrushes and brushes make coating easy with a transparent wood finish, varnish, paint and even the oiling of wooden floors in the house and on the terrace. However, they should be adapted to the paint and the material to create a closed and beautiful surface. For this reason, paintbrushes and brushes are now available in numerous variants for different purposes.

A high-quality round or flat brush facilitates the painting of furniture, fences and other components in the house and garden considerably. It distributes the paint, varnish or transparent wood finish uniformly and can be cleaned easily after use. So it can be used again and again.
The brass-wire brush removes dirt and paint residue
Before you start applying the paint, you should thoroughly clean the surface with a brush. With a brass-wire brush this works very well because their fine brass wires penetrate into the pores. This also removes heavy soiling, the remains of an old coat of paint and even small wooden parts which have dissolved over time. For the cleaning of wood which is only a little dusty, a soft dusting and cleaning brush also suffices.
Paintbrush for special applications
Painting radiators is not easy, because the gaps are often not reachable with an ordinary paintbrush. For this purpose there are special radiator paintbrushes. Their wooden handle is extra long and very flat, so it fits between the ribs. Other special paintbrush designs include the enamel brush and the solvent-resistant special brush such as our Solvamaxx model which is suitable for varnishes and transparent wood finishes. Its polyester bristles are even finer than China bristles, meaning the paintbrush strokes are not visible later.
The transparent wood finish brush has short bristles which ensure that the wood grain comes out better after coating with a transparent wood finish. However, it can also be used for coating with a varnish. We also offer transparent wood finish brushes as sets in our shop ADLER Farbenmeister. They consist of smaller and larger paintbrushes, so you always have the right size at hand.
Brushes for oiling wooden floors
Oiling large surfaces such as parquet floors and wooden floors on the terrace takes too long with the paintbrush. For this reason, it is best to use a floor brush. It also has the advantage of massaging the oil into the wood. As a result it penetrates into the deeper layers and thus provides good protection of the wood from the inside.
