Re-design the house with a facade paint
Plastered and concrete walls look almost new again after one coat. For this purpose, facade paints based on water or acrylic are available in white and in many other colours from our ADLER-Farbenmeister shop. You don't need a professional to carry out this work because our facade paint can be painted, rolled or sprayed like a conventional wall paint.
Plastered facades often no longer look beautiful after a few decades. This flaw can be easily remedied with a good facade paint. It makes the house shine again as fresh as ever and almost appears as though it has just been built. Likewise, a building coated in a different colour can also acquire a whole new look. This is the reason why we produce facade paints in many different colour shades.
Facade paints must meet high standards
Good weathering resistance is particularly important for facade paints. It not only preserves the selected colour shade over a long period of time, but at the same time the surface is protected from attack by algae, fungi and dirt from the road. Another important criterion of the facade paint is its permeability to water vapour. Otherwise the moisture from the living areas would not escape to the outside and attacks of mould would occur all too easily in the apartment.
Facade paints which fulfil all these characteristics can be obtained from our shop. We produce facade paints in white and in many current and trendy colours. Our product Tirosilc facade paint is made in water-based form. This paint can be used universally. The facade paint Acryl-Color based on pure acrylate, on the other hand, is particularly suitable for ready-mix concrete, rendered facades and for painting the base..
How to paint your facade yourself
Painting a facade is not difficult and therefore can be carried out by laymen. In order for the project to succeed, however, you should wait for suitable weather. Choose a day with an overcast sky, where it is expected to remain dry and the humidity is not above 80%. The outside temperature should be at least 5 °C. Clean the facade and repair holes and cracks. This is not necessary for small hair-line cracks, as they are covered by our facade paint.
The facade paint from our shop can be painted with a paintbrush or a roller or sprayed with a suitable device. However, always work wet-on-wet (do not allow individual sections to dry) to ensure that an even surface results. The duration of the drying process naturally depends on the weather conditions and in favourable conditions takes around a few hours. To clean the equipment, warm water and a little washing-up liquid or detergent are sufficient.
