Coloured paints offer many possibilities to decorate wood, metal and plastic colourfully and to protect the material from environmental influences. These paints are available as acrylic paints in water-based form, as particularly robust synthetic resin paints and as machine paints for heavily stressed metal surfaces. Coloured paints bring colour into the apartment and the garden. They can be used to paint furniture, wall and ceiling claddings, fences, garden houses and much more.  Coloured paints are easy to work with and interesting for the do-it-yourselfer too. They are suitable for wood, metals and even for plastics.

Coloured paints for inside and outside

Coloured paints are available in different finishes. This group includes: 

• Acrylic paints

• synthetic resin paint

• machine paints

Acrylic paints like our ADLER VariColor, which we produce in numerous colours, are equally popular among professionals and do-it-yourselfers. You can use it for your radiators since it is heat-resistant.  Acrylic paints are produced in water-based form and are thus generally recognized as safe (GRAS).  For this reason, they are suitable for painting in the living area and even for children's rooms. Due to the good weathering resistance, you can also use this paint for outdoor painting. With our coloured paint ADLERVariColor you have the choice between a silky matt surface and a gloss paint.

A further variant in the field of coloured paints are the synthetic resin paints, which are made on the basis of a synthetic resin made of mineral oil. While curing they form a particularly hard and robust surface that withstands the most severe stresses. However, the paint layer remains elastic, so you can also paint wood with a synthetic resin paint, which often fades or swells due to environmental influences. The paint layer adapts, meaning that no cracks are formed on the surface.

Our machine paint ADLER Ferrocolor gives steel, iron, aluminum and zinc a nice appearance. This paint is used by tradesmen and in agriculture also to paint machines and equipment.  Ferrocolor protects the metal from rust, is weather-resistant and therefore also suitable for outdoor use. With Ferrocolor priming beforehand is not required.

Using coloured paints

 The coloured paints from our shop ADLER Farbenmeister can be painted with a paintbrush or a roller or sprayed with a suitable device. In addition, we also offer our acrylic paints in a spray. In addition to the coloured paints in various colours, we also produce effect paints in a wrought iron appearance as well as gold, silver and copper-coloured paints.
