Acrylic paints – beautiful paints for your house & garden
The acrylic paint is one of the most popular coloured paints. It is easy to work with, is economical in consumption, very durable, colourfast and available in many beautiful colours. In addition, an acrylic paint provides good protection for wood, metal and hard PVC outdoors. It is also suitable for the colour design of the living areas and even for the children's toys because it is generally recognised as safe.

With acrylic paints you can design many elements in the house and garden in beautiful colours. With these paints, you can paint home-made furniture, wall and ceiling panelling, fences, garden houses and much more. Acrylic paints are economical in consumption, have good covering capacity, do not yellow and are very colourfast. This makes them durable and only have to be renewed after a long time.
The positive properties of acrylic paints
Acrylic paints are suitable for many substrates and for indoor as well as outdoor use. They adhere very well to wood, metal and even plastics such as hard PVC. Due to their heat resistance, these paints can even be used to paint radiators.
Outdoors, an acrylic paint protects against atmospheric influence or exposure. Structural elements made of wood are thus longer lasting and metal surfaces are protected against rust. Despite this good protection, acrylic paints are generally recognized as safe (GRAS), since they are generally produced in water-based form, they are solvent-free and low-odour. They are also suitable for indoor use and even for children's toys thanks to their perspiration and saliva proof properties.
Surface design with the ADLER VariColor
The universal acrylic paint ADLER VariColor from our shop ADLER Farbenmeister can be used without prior priming and can either be painted, rolled or sprayed. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We manufacture it in many colour shades and as clear coat. In addition, you get this coloured paint also as an effect paint and with a mica structure; with this water-based paint you can create colourful surfaces and for example give a new appearance to old pieces of furniture very quickly.
If you are looking for a clear coat for wood in indoor areas we recommend the Aquacryl CFB. With it you can paint wall and ceiling panelling, wooden furniture and even wooden toys.
If you would like to spray an acrylic paint, but you do not have the necessary tools, we offer our spray paints in cans.
Acrylic paints are ready for use, but can also be diluted with water due to the fact that they are produced in water-based form. For this reason paintbrushes and other tools can also be cleaned with water.
If you still need a good paintbrush or a roller for painting and other accessories, you can find these in our shop. For acrylic paints, our paintbrush is suitable for water-based paint and if you want to paint a radiator, we offer special radiator brushes which make it easy to reach difficult places.

Very good adhesion
|
For good adhesion, the ambient temperature should be between + 10 °C and + 30 °C. Painting at excessive humidity (65%) and dew condensation on the painted surface should be avoided.
Because of its high adhesion, the acrylic paint can be painted on most substrates without a primer. This saves time and costs. Nevertheless, a thorough preparation of the substrate, which must be completely clean and free of grease, is a basic prerequisite for good adhesion.
